In this article, we will explain how you can use Zapier to send leads from Gmail!
You can connect your Outlook emails in the same way
Please Note: You need to have a Gsuite/ Google Workspace account, Zapier does not allow you to connect Gmail account which end in @gmail.com or @googlemail.com
How can I use Zapier to connect a channel?
Click on channels, then connect a new channel.
Then click connect on the Zapier Channel
Now you are in the channel, click Connect Zapier
A new tab will open and you will be redirected to Zapier. If you don't have an account, you can sign up to one for free.
Click Accept Invite & Build a Zap
Once accepted, click on + Create Zap
Once inside the builder, click on "Trigger"
The trigger is software that starts the zap. In our example, we will search for Gmail as we want the trigger to be when a new email is received in the Business Gmail Inbox to send the lead to Boxly.
In this example, click on Gmail
In the Event tab select “New Email”
You will then need to sign into the Gmail account that you'd like to connect
If you don’t have one simply click on “+ Connect a new account”
In the Label/Mailbox Select “Inbox”
Then click on the “Test trigger" to get a “Test email” Zapier will find a recent email that you received so that you can start the mapping with Boxly.
Click on “Continue with selected record”
Now in the Action select type in and "Boxly/EnquiryBox"
In the event Select “Create Lead”
You will then need to login to your Boxly account to connect it.
Put in the login details you use to login to your Boxly account
Now on the right-hand side, select the box and stage you want the Email from your Inbox need to go into and map the Email Fields to the Boxly fields.
Suggested fields to map from Email to Boxly
Box Name - Select the box in which you’d want to send this emails to directly
Box Stage - Stage in the box
Full Name - Gmail list select “ From Name”
Phone Number: Just add 0000
Email - Select “From Email”
Message: Select “Body Plain”
File: “All Attachments”
Map anything else that you'd like to send it to Boxly
Once mapped. Click test step and you should see the lead pop into Boxly. If you're happy with the connection, publish your Zap!
And that is it! The next time an Email comes into your Inbox, it will go to the right Boxly Box and Stage with Zapier as a Channel.
